Thomas Surfboards Pererenan

After building surfboards in Indonesia for over twelve years, last night our founders Thomas Bexon and Jake Bowrey celebrated the opening of their first satellite store, Thomas Surfboards Pererenan. The turnout for the lil’ shindig was testament to the fact that it’s not only surfboards that the boys have been building here over the years, they’ve done a lot to nurture the growth of the longboarding community in Indonesia too. Big ups to our Indonesian and expat fam that came along to the party.

The new store, which opened in partnership with long time friends, Smile Clothing Co, is an opportunity for us to provide premium surfboards to the Indonesian community, on our terms. 

The design of the store itself is just as beautiful as the Australian made, Thomas Surfboards that currently fill the racks, and for that we have plenty to thank the lovely folks at Further for. Opening in March 23, Further introduces a new concept to Bali’s south west coast: the ‘diffused hotel’, a local reimagining of a unique hospitality typology with Italian roots, which respectfully disperses the elements of a guest experience throughout a community. Thomas Surfboards Pererenan is nestled on the hotel’s street frontage, alongside Bar Vera, a contemporary tribute to the classic Parisian bistro, from the team behind celebrated local establishment Mason.

So that’s that, we’re open for business in our first satellite store, in Pererenan, Bali, and we’re not going to lie, it is a big milestone for us - from ours to yours, SHIT YEAH.
